Summer Fun

When I was about 14 my family took a plane trip from Baltimore to Utah, six kids on a plane. It was the first plane trip for most of us and a pretty big deal. I guess my parents were a bit worried about losing someone so they had us all wear green shirts and the flight attendants called us The Green Family. Since I was 14, you can imagine how mortified I was by the whole experience. That story doesn't have much to do with my post, but it's been on my mind since we've taken two plane trips in the past couple weeks with a very wiggly and curious 10 month old baby.
First we went to Oklahoma to see Matt's family and three big dogs. Sammy had mixed feelings about the dogs, but seemed to like everything else. I love the progression, or digression of these photos as we tried to get a whole family shot.

Four days after we got back from Oklahoma, Sammy and I flew to Oregon. What a nice break from the Vegas heat! Sammy got to meet his cousin, we visited my brother, Andrew, before he left for Marine Corp duty in Japan, saw lots of other family and had fun exploring Oregon.

Yes, Sammy's wearing a SNOWSUIT at the beach, but it was 60 degrees that morning and it made clean up super easy!

Can you even imagine The Green Team all drinking Red Bulls driving to Cali? Now that would be entertainment. That family photo looked AWESOME!!! Matt can't complain about my shoots being a disaster anymore Kidding!!! It is never good when you involve animals of any kind.

It cracks me up that family photos are always such an event. You even got the dogs in there! Now that's impressive. :) Are they Schnawzers?
