I love when the 4th of July is on a weekend, we can celebrate it for three days and (when I worked outside the home) I got my birthday off! We had a busy weekend, Matt and I went on TWO dates and saw Toy Story 3. Saturday night we went to a block party and Sammy tasted his first fireworks (he didn't literally TASTE them, that was another girl) but he decided he did NOT like the noise. What drama! I took him home early and left his pyro dad there to play w/the fireworks. Sunday night we watched fireworks from our house with our neighbors, we had a view of several different fireworks across the city. Monday was my birthday, I got to take a shower without interruptions from a baby, we grilled pizzas for dinner and made lemon custard ice cream, YUM! It didn't resemble Aggie Ice Cream's Lemon Custard, but it was still pretty good.

Fun weekend. I'm so happy you made lemon custard ice cream! Sammy is getting so big--what a cute kid!
