This is Love
As cute as Sammy is, we've created a monster, he can eat 12 times a day and go for about six hours with only a couple 30 minute naps! I was starting to go a little crazy and very sleep deprived. After several days of passing him around, rocking in the laundry room with the fan on, and car rides, we went out and bought a swing. Remember way back when I was completely overwhelmed by all the baby stuff and didn't know what to get? Well we never bought a swing, he just needed a car seat to come home in, diapers for his bum and a place to sleep, right? So yesterday we broke down and bought the swing AND IT IS AMAZING! Why didn't anyone tell me what a wonder it would be?!! Ok, several people did, but people tell you lots of things about babies, the trouble is deciding what to believe. Now that he's doing what infants are supposed to do (the book says they sleep 16 hours a day) I am going to take a nap!

Oh my goodness, he is ADORABLE!!!
Soooooo cute! I can't wait to see him. It's live and learn process Liz. The swing works for Sammy and for now. Another month or another child it will be something different. :)
But don't you just love him more than anything else in your life?

I LOVED my swing- James would never sleep in his crib. But it ended after about 3 months. What kind of swing did you get?
Babies are tricky and they can't talk--that's a tough combo. Everytime mine seem inconsolable I remember to call my babies out: "wait, a second. This is one of your little tricks. And you're making me guess what you want." Way to figure out it! 10 points for Liz and Matt!
What a little Sweetie! I love him sucking on you fingers. Oh, I miss all those little things! But I do love my sleep too. :) Enjoy those naps. He is absolutely adorable! You guys sure do make 'em cute!
