Stopping at Red Lights is Optional
When we moved to Vegas our car insurance rates made a significant jump. It didn't take us long to see why, drivers here are just plain crazy! Everyone thinks they have the worst drivers, in Wash DC they're super aggressive, in Utah no one will ever let you into their lane and Pennsylvanians and Minnesotans don't know how to merge onto the freeway. But here people just run red lights, in the middle of the day with traffic all around. A few weeks ago I had just missed the left turn light, the straight through light was still green. I was completely flabbergasted when THREE cars pulled around from behind me and turned left at an obviously RED TURN LIGHT!! This was in broad daylight! Matt and I have seen several other instances when cars have run red lights, sometimes with heavy cross traffic. And most of these are locals, not tourists. I can't figure it out but it's a little scary.

Oh my YIKES! I can't believe that. I guess you really win the competition for the worst drivers!
They are probably 16 yr olds or else elderly 30 yr olds.
