This Week

The past couple weeks have been crazy. I recently got a job with Wyndham…the timeshare people. It’s not the most exciting job, but I got it through the temp agency and I keep telling myself “it’s only for four months” and besides, what else am I going to do during the day? You know all those drawings you see at the mall for cars/vacations/etc? Well they’re usually sponsored by Wyndham and once you give us your name and contact info, we can call you for months and try and convince you to buy a timeshare. All those entry forms come to me, I get to sort through them, toss out the fakes, scan them and upload them to a company in India that puts all the info into a spreadsheet for us. After that it just gets even more exciting, yep, I’m putting my college degree to great use! You know its bad when you start dreaming about work. One day this week I spent several hours downloading computer files from a database and moving them into new folders. That night I dreamt I was doing the exact same thing, only they weren’t files of contact info, they were files for pregnant women! I guess you can tell what things have been on my mind lately…
