If you missed the video on Tom's blog, here's your chance to see the cannon at work.
Also, I didn't know there were lavender fields in central Utah, we passed these on the drive up and I had to take a picture!
When we got back from SLC I found my lime tree like this. Officially dead, it had been struggling for a while, the bugs really got it when it was outside this spring. I tried for days to revive it and finally when I saw two little leaves sprouting I thought it might make a comeback. So much for the limeade and lime pie:(

Sorry about the lime tree. I mourn every time one of those little babies die. My sister in Bountiful managed to keep her dwarf lime alive for about a year, but it eventually went the way of the dodo too. I think they are just meant to be in Florida. Try a meier lemon next time. My family in Vegas LOVE their lemon trees.
Loved the cannon, but not as much as the boys did. It was great having you up!
Sorry about the lime tree! How sad :( I'm glad you had a good trip to SLC. It's still so weird that you're close enough to do that! I'm interested to hear about your bday and see another tummy photo!
Too bad it didn't work out to get together. I'll have to see you when the baby is here. Happy late b-day. Call and update me on things.
Happy belated birthday! That was quite some power for such a little cannon! And your poor lime tree...I can't keep plants alive either.
Haha! I love the video! It looks like you guys had a blast! I love the lavender fields! How beautiful! Happy Belated Birthday! I'm glad you were able to celebrate your 30th with your family! I'm so sorry your little lime tree didn't make it! They smell so good and it would've been fun for you to make yummy treats from its goodness. Maybe you'll have better luck with lemons or oranges?
Thanks for the fun post!
Love and hugs,
B
We saw those same lavendar fields on our way back to CA and thought of you while we were stuck in traffic for an hour in Vegas. :) Hopefully we can get together sooner than later!
