All we need is the baby

Here's our nursery, probably won't make it on HGTV but I like it:) I was going for a primary color scheme, no fancy schmancy "everything Power Rangers or something like that" but it kind of looks like I've got a random children's book characters theme going on at the same time. I'm ok with that.

I was going to add a 34 week belly photo but I'm not sure where Matt saved it, or if he did. So my adoring fans will have to wait, I think there are only three people that want to see it anyway.

I LOVE the dark furniture. I wish I would have done that to start with. Oh well. Our crib and changing table are going the way of freecycle after this baby. If we have a bonus kid, he'll get new furniture!!! ;)

It looks great! Do you ever just go there and sit and look at it and contemplate about how your life is going to change?

I believe that you never fully appreciate your parents until you become one.

It's adorable! Now all we have to do is wait to see the cutie that get's to enjoy it. Your dad is soooo right, I totally used to sit in the nursery and think of what they were going to be like and how life would be different. I also agree that you don't truly appreciate your parents and what they went through until you're a parent yourself. OH and I can't wait to see more belly shots! Please keep them coming! Love ya!

I am happy to see a nice collection of kids' books. You can hardly ever have too many kids' books. Soon as the little one is old enough check out your local library lap-sit.

Cute nursery Lizzy! It is so exciting when you have it all set up and are just waiting for the babe. Oh, and by the way... I want to see pics of your belly!
