The Waltz King

Last night Matt got free tickets to see Andre Rieu and his Strauss Orchestra in concert. It was a really fun concert. He is called the Waltz King and every time his orchestra plays the Blue Danube waltz, people in the audience get up and waltz in the aisles. All the women in the orchestra perform in colorful fancy ball gowns and he had some of the best soloists I’ve every heard. When they played the bull fight song someone dressed in a bull costume came charging down aisles. A highlight was when one of his soloists sang “Time To Say Goodbye” I think it’s one of the most beautiful versions of it I’ve ever heard. My voice teacher had me working on this song a few months ago but I’m not sure I can pick it up again now that I’ve heard this girl sing it!
