The Final Chapter

By now Matt and I had been dating maybe a little over a month. I'd been planning a trip to London and Paris that summer. Matt really wanted to go, dropping not-so-subtle hints and such. So I invited him along. After a few weeks though, I decided it just wasn't going to work with us. I should break-up before he did something drastic, like buy tickets to Europe. 'Cause then wouldn't that be awkward? I had the weekend set for the talk, unfortunately I didn't see or speak to him at all that weekend until he called Sunday even to say...he just booked his flights to Europe! Well so much for that idea, but I figured what better scene to find if you really like a guy than traveling across foreign lands for several days, especially when he's the ONLY guy in the group and many of the girls were old enough to be his daughter?

In spite of the travel company, Matt was a good sport on the trip, and a wonderful gentleman. Thank goodness I didn't break up, Europe was where I started to see that I could fall in love with this guy. Aww, isn't that romantic?

Hang on, how is this the final chapter?! It can't be the final chapter, cause the story is SO not over! I need the rest of the story, if you please. (I am super late remembering to read this, but please don't feel like that makes it any less urgent to write more!)
