Countdown to the big 3-0

In about six months from now I'll turn 30. I think this is cause to celebrate. I feel like I should do some sort of great physical feat or trip to commemorate 30 years on the planet. I've already done a triathlon, run a few 10ks and biked two century rides. I even went mud wrestling on my 25th birthday. What else is there to do? I know I don't want to run a marathon, but maybe a half marathon. Any ideas? It could be a trip somewhere instead of an exercise thing. Or a trip somewhere to do an exercise thing. So, throw your ideas out there, it doesn't have to be done by my birthday, but sometime this year. Come on, don't be shy, I really want to hear your ideas!

There is the annual naked bike ride here in Portland in June! it is the largest nude bike ride in the world. HOw is that for an idea???

I think what ever you do it should involve coming to see your father and sharing it with him.

And celebrating with exercise may not be a good idea because you will be so old at that point. :)

Wow, what great ideas already. Suzy, that cruise does sound cool and I've never been on a cruise. Inger-Lis, I'm not sure a nude bike is quite what I had in mind, but I certainly loved the suggestion!

Liz,
Anderson said to tell you to dig a 3 foot hole in the ground because you will be most likely half way dead at that point. Kidding!!! I think that you should go to San Diego on a road trip with me and Rachel. Maybe head into Mexico and eat tacos from a street vendor. Or maybe head back to Portugal and visit Toninho. HEE HEE HEE Elizabeth Jarvis....Red Bull I hope you live it up for your big 3-0!!!

Sorry, I don't have a cool idea, but I just have to say how much I love being 30--NO FOR REALS! My mom was right--you are so much smarter than you were in your 20's, but you still feel well enough to do things.
