1. Trees; everything green in general, and of course all the fall leaves. Not that there aren't trees in Las Vegas, just that I can easily count them all in Las Vegas.
2. The free museums, concerts and historical sights. Not all are free, but a lot are!
3. Biking on the WOD trail; I've ridden the whole thing!
4. Food; 5 Guys Burgers, Wegman's chinese buffet, and the many neat ethnic restaurants all around.
5. MCOW (the Mormon Choir of Wash DC), sure the powder blue "mother of the bride" dresses were a little scary but I haven't been able to sing fun and challenging music like that for a long time.
6. Last but not least, my family, did you guys really think I'd forget to mention you?

Isn't 5 guys so yummy? My hope is now that they're in Utah they'll migrate south to Vegas!
We're leaving town Monday, should pull into Vegas Nov 1.
I am personally offended by the "not being able to sing fun and challenging music like that for a long time" statement!!! Do you know that I read your blog??? haha...oh well, at least we wear black. :)
Hope you're doing great! Have a fun and safe move to Nevada!
Sorry Erin! I loved singing in the Minnesota Mormon Chorale too, I've just been singing with Washington for longer so maybe they stuck out in my head more. But, I must give some points to your choir for the excellent music and the much better choice of concert dress!
Gladys Knight's choir is based in Las Vegas so who knows where I'll be singing next?
