We always wondered why there was this useless niche/cutout in our upstairs hallway.
I decided it would make a great work area for me! I've been working on it for weeks now and am so excited to have it done!
I already had the (Ikea) table and bought a couple bookshelves from Ikea. I covered an old ugly filing cabinet for more storage and even added a chalk board decal for little kids, once they learn not to color on walls of course.
There wasn't an outlet on this wall so we had an electrician add one. The electrician was the most expensive part, overall I spent about $350 on the whole thing. And Matt added this awesome new light that I love.
I like to pretend as if I'm on HGTV, explaining my design project:) Thanks for putting up with me!

It's downright beautiful! Way to be resourceful Liz!!! May many crafty posts follow, especially since I can't get my craft fix currently.
