Another Little Boy's Room

I've been working on getting a new bedroom ready for Sammy. Yep, little brother is already getting stuck with the hand-me-downs. I just refinished this armoire for the room. It sat on our porch for weeks while I worked on it and there's a little hole in back where our vicious desert winds actually knocked it over. For the hardware I took a few old and new knobs and spray painted them all the same color. I got the idea from a store on Etsy and paid much less than the $40 they were asking. Just as we were attaching the hardware, Sammy took a ballpoint pen to one of the drawers, I nearly freaked out. Thank goodness for Magic Erasers! I've also made some curtains, they're not up yet but I've included a preview 'cause they are so stinkin cute! Now I've got to clean out the bedroom, paint, assemble a bed and add a few more touches. Enjoy!

Hooray for blue and brown. And elephants.

I have never tried furniture redos but I do enjoy seeing other people's. Totally unrelated to babies but I love this blog for beautiful work.

PS If I never said before ... congrats and enjoy!

I love the Elephants! They are the cutest new thing for babies and I'm so glad you're decorating with them. And that dresser is beautiful, it'll look awesome in his room.

That armoire looks super great! I'm way impressed, and I love the knobs a ton! Cute curtains, too. Make sure we get to see the final product!
